she sat in the living room staring at door. The book portal that she had given Phillip and Ed permission to pass through was lost a long time ago. And she also knew that the only way left for Ed to come home on his own was through the bridge portal and she knew, as Phillip had told her, only the king can give permission to any dwarf to pass through. Remembering that the king was the reason why Phillip decided to bring his family to his kingdom, Margaret was left with little hope of seeing her son once again. She sat there for a long time, waiting for the door to open and see his son. She sat and waited on the sofa until she finally fell asleep.

            And just like Margaret, Marianne fall asleep waiting for Ed. Little did they know that the man they were waiting was already hovering and sleeping in between the bed of Joanna and Mario.
